Job Performance of Healthcare Providers Working in Public Sector Hospitals in Pakistan

Purpose: This study sought to explore the job performance (JP) of health care providers (HCPs) working in public sector hospitals Pakistan. Methodology: A descriptive cross-sectional was carried out Liaquat University Hospital, Hyderabad, and Jamshoro, Sir Cowasjee Institute Psychiatry, Shah Bhittai Hyderabad. three-sectioned questionnaire containing socio-demographic characteristics information regarding an individual work measure used. The relationship between different job-related variables by applying a one-way ANOVA test at p-value 0.05. Results: Results on scale revealed that 60.6% doctors had satisfactory performance, only 39.4% unsatisfactory performance. Job differs significantly age (F2, 357=3.259, p2, 357=3.583, p1, 358=5.217, 358 =1.819, p>0.05), income 357=1.642, beds under supervision (F4, 313=1.400, current organizational tenure (F3, 356=1.576, healthcare experience 356=1.363, 357=0.381, weekly off days (F1, 358=0.421, p>0.05) dual practice 358=1.700, have no significant effect levels employee. Conclusion: associated with such as age, difficulties faced respondents work, number patients treated per day.
